Gas inlets leaks ?

Again on inlets...
Maybe I'm a bit stupid, but D2 scares me so much.
I have worked 2 years in a gas refill plant, we had Oxy, Acetylene, Liquid N2, and someone loosed his life at the Hydrogen section... How ? A bottle valve was leaking and moving the stuff he had a spark from the metals. BOOM !

I know poeple tend to translate facts in tales, and lots of them were told to me, but an explosion in the house is really not what I need.

Richard, have you measured how much the swagelocks (you have on chamber) leak ?

Why this?
I have 3 isolation valves and a calibrated leak.
They are all Whitey valves wit swagelock fitings.
Having to use em for the gas inlet system, I was trying to figure how much leaking I should expect from them.
I'd like to close all valves and try the system disconnected from gas bottle. (for security at least at the beginning)
Then, when more familiar with all the handling, I'll have to evacuate all the gas reservoir system before refill.
I'd like to understand how much deep can I go with pumping, and how much air (O2! booom????) does leak inside the gas line and then in the chamber...

In brief:

If air is admitted in the chamber during fusion, will the D2 ignite ???

ciao
Daniele
