How in the hell do you cut alumina? I tried with a standard Dremel cut off wheel and it just melted without making a DENT in the alumina tube. I cant believe how hard this stuff is. It is like cutting diamonds. Mc Master-Carr says use a Dremel diamond cut off wheel, where do you get these? They are not listed on their web site or their catelog.
I have the new stainless chamber on line (0 microns on the TC guage and a slow leak up to 100 microns over night), the power supply is essentially complete. All I have to do is get the inner grid mated to the HV feedthrough to have a demo fusor.
