What it means technically is that there is an increased physical density and therefore higher pressure in the center of the inner grid. So much so that the plasma temperature there is far above background.
Study it, marvel at it and learn its peculiarities with pressure, voltage, and current. There are so many degees of freedom that it will boggle your mind.
The fact that you hit extinction means you can go much much higher in voltage. This mean star mode. This also means you are sealed well enough to do fusion. Nice job!
