Hi Perfesser and everybody!, actually mate I was the one who voted "Yes absolutely!". The reason being, that I have faith in modern materials science advances combined with a usually simple approach nobody ever thought before that makes all the difference. A classic example is an aeroplane which only worked after combining esoteric materials like aluminium into the engine along with a design not based on bird biology. I have planned from the start to try the coaxial approach to a fusor device as i think i could end up with a pretty dense neutron flux end on to the chamber with a relatively low vacuum.
