Hi everybody!, My understanding of these various Netscape/IE java problems appears to be the way the Microsoft Java compiler is set up: in it's default mode as installed it compiles code using "Handy" microsoft specific libraries and routines. You actually have to set various "Switches" to make it output industry standard code. This results in Netscape and Opera browsers giving unusual behavior when they run this Java code. I understand that this was a specific issue in the microsoft antitrust trial and that there were specific rulings made with regard to java compilers (Don't quote me on that though).
