I think this would be a useful thread to pursue for a while, at least. One of the challenges in fusion has always been how to extract the energy with reasonable efficiency. With the Fusors, it seems they are not likely to achieve breakeven or become net energy producers. So that leaves open, what kind of containment device will succeed? Depending on its size, we have indications of what applications will be open to Fusion.
