Century Mark

Now we have the popular fusor construction and operation forum just over the 100 post mark. This is the premier forum and the bulk of the interest of the group focuses, ostensibly, on this venue. If we add the other hands-on and tech forums, the total posts to "get-involved" - "roll up you sleeves" type forums accounts for 185 posts as of 20 feb 2001.

The second most popular tech forum is the neutron counting and radiation measurement forum followed by the Vacuum technology forum.

Close on the heels of the tech head forums is the general fusion discussion forum for messages like this and others not pointing at registered forums.

The theory and general fusor related issues forum is the second most posted to non-tech forum. Lotsa' folks out there with the gears turnin'.

The fusor/fusion history forum and the links forum are special purpose and therefore not growing real fast. That is OK. Just make sure to post good history specific and URL link specific stuff in these forums and not other forums. One might be tempted to post a URL for a SS sphere manufacturers web page in the construction forum, but please put it in the link forum. Make it a one stop for all URL and link pointers.

Only a smattering of folks are grinding away to produce fusion power as indicated by the fusion powered future postings.

The poor trading post is moribund. I guess not a whole lot of folks have goodies to sell or trade. Remember, this can be a "want ad" forum as well.

Finally, we are about 100 or more strong too. Not bad for just a couple of months at the new address.

Right now, I think the forums are well balanced and rather complete. I can't think of another forum to add, off hand.
