I can't figure out what determines a "new" posting. Is it date as determined by the last time you visited (perhaps recorded in a cookie)? Something else?
It would be real nice to have a feature (maybe it's there) that would let you look at all the new posts since the last time you looked. Sort by date sort of does this, but requires that you go to each discussion in turn and click on sort by date (i.e. you can't make it a default).
On the old bbs, you could just keep track of message numbers and do it that way...
