Re[2]: Resources (Fusor FAQ?)
Index Previous in Thread Next in Thread

Probably a posting to the appropiate discussion forum with a preambled title like "FAQ: Surplus vacuum sources" would be OK. The problem being that a FAQ is more than a simple message. It is a compendium and complete one stop guide to the subject listed. FAQ candidates should be scrutinized carefully before having the FAQ moniker attached. Under LINKS, I often put REF: before a book or paper or in CONSTRUCTION I might put PART SOURCE: before a key supplier, being careful to not include vacuum parts under construction as they belong in the Vacuum section.

If you are just going to chime in on a forum don't preamble. If a valuable tip is given or or key item is referenced, then use a short, all caps, coloned, preamble to key up on quick searches of the topic forum. If you have a large list of sources or a long diatribe which is rather complete on the topic use the FAQ: title premable.

Just a thought.
