My interests, of course, lay in obtaining stable neutron production. Currently, max output is in very heavy bursts with only moderate average production rates. Max 150,000 or more neutrons/sec. Average or mean production over 5 minutes, ~40-80K neuts/sec.
To stabilized production for period of minutes at mean level of 10e5n/sec would be a real coup for the amateur community.
I feel this will be the value of computer control.
