Re[2]: Fusion Fuel Cell

I'm a bit confused here....guess I missed a few things along the way... what is being "levitated" - photons? They don't need to be levitated... they have no rest mass. confinement of photons means reflection by some means. Reflection means some sort of electron (plasmon) interaction extending over a region on the order of some 1/4 wavelength or so of the photons involved. This is a lot of free foating molecules to organize and confine.. "How doo dey doo dat" in a vacuum no less?!?

The Farnsworth concept uses electrostatic forces to control ions, not photons. Photons and fermions are rather different beasts.

Further, in the easier Fusion reactions, neutrons carry most of the energy. Are these folks looking at hotter fusion reactions?
