I became interested in Philo Farnsworth's fusor mostly because I have worked at ITT, in Fort Wayne, for ~20 years, and seen photos of Philo with an early fusor in our company "museum". I have also heard stories from some employees (all retired now) regarding Philo's work with "reactors" and nuclear power.
