PMT preamp

I've been looking at suitable op amps for use in a photomultiplier preamp circuit. So far the National Semiconductor LM359 looks like a pretty good candidate: It runs off a single supply rail, has a slew rate of 60 volts/uS and in the application notes has a circuit with a 3 dB down bandwidth of 25 MHz and a noise figure of 6 nanovolts.
