æüõ49.docDue to the fact that my currency is in the basement, I've been looking around for cheaper sources of parts for a neutron detector. Anyway at www.tubes.ru a guy name Nikolai is obtaining a price for a FEU-49 which is a 170 mm window (6.8 inch)photomultiplier tube. If anyone can puzzle out some technical Russian and give a rough idea or even guess as to the specs of this device I'd really appreciate it and it may help out some of the other experimenters cobbling up a crude detector for their experiments
