monoenergetic - exothermic - d-d fusion
Index Previous in Thread Next in Thread

The book referenced recently under links here goes into vast detail on monoenergetic neutrons.

Low and behold, the d-d reaction is touted as absolutely monoenergetic with the rigid 2.448 mev (2.45) neutron being the sole neutron energy until the particles collide at over 1mev energy. Thus, we need fear nothing from our chambers other than this classic single energy.

I believe I noted either on the old list or on my website regarding the Zambelli visit that I removed the BF3 tube from the moderator and got no counts due to slow or epithermal neuts. Placing the tube back in the moderator instantly registered over 250 cpm! This militates for fast neuts, as predicted.

There are just no sources in the fusor chamber of the 1-2mev gamma needed for photodisintegration of dueterons.

We are doing real fusion.
