I am sure you were discussing the alternate reaction D+D = T + P being seen by the Japanese team. Some might have thought seeing both neutrons and protons as your sentence stated was evidence of stripping. Of course, you mentioned the energy at 3mev for the proton which is characteristic of the nearly equal branch T + P fusion reaction.

Some of the newbies might have been confused here.

Newbies need to study the fusion reactions possible which are effectively monoenergetic where most of the important debris is concerned. Stripping is not a mono-energetic occurance, and as I have said, is just not possible at our energy levels.

It is good to here of the Japanese confirming real fusion in the fusor. Of course, we knew that all along. It's nice having another proof positive scource.
