Has anyone tried creating and injecting muons, despite their short lifetimes [tau]) into the center of the grid in an attempt to bring two deuterium nuclei together and fuse?
Has anyone attempted a Penning trap or a Polywell configuration? Is there perhaps a new configuration that confines both the electron and ionized deuterium more efficiently?
