Re[2]: Going to UCLA and Cal-Tech Libraries

Ok, went, a little dissapointing...
I forgot that the Milikan library at Cal-Tech is closed on the weekends and is only open to 5:00 during the week. Guess the Ivory Tower doesn't care that the "rest of us" only have the weekends and after-hours... Sigh... UCLA only had "Fusion Technology" through 1988. Guess they gave up afer "Cold Fusion" (Still think there may be something to that...) Anyway, here is what I got: (not a lot)

"Convergence, electrostatic potential, and density measurements in a spherically convergent ion focus" T.A. Thorson, Journal of Plasma Physics, January 1997

"Inertial-Electrostatic Confinement of Ionized Fusion Gases" Robert L. Hirsch, Journal of Applied Physics, 1967 pg 4522-4534

Still looking for:

"Fusion Reactivity Characterization of a Spherically Convergent Ion Focus" Thorson, T. A., Nuclear Fusion 38, 495 (1988)

"Can Fusion do Better than Boil Water for Electricity" Waganer, L. M., Fusion Technology vol 34, p. 496, 1998

R. W. Bussard, Fusion Technology, 19, 273, 1991

Miley, G.H, Fusion Technology, 20, 850 (1991)

Miley, G.H., Fusion Technology, 21, 1693, (1992)

"The secondary electron emission coefficient(blah), is estimated by comparing the values of (blah) for a variety of materials listed in Oak Ridge National Laboratory Report No. ORNL-6088, 1985 (unpublished) See National Technical Information Service Document No. DE85008764. ("Blah" means I still remember the Greek alphabet, but can't place the symbol to the image... sigma?)

Any other papers you might be aware of...

Ben, will work on it...
