Richard, all,

I think one can build an anti backstreaming one,
at least.

This seems a real easy one.

A firend of mine use a simple cylindrical tank in series with the 2 stage pump, it is a long cylinder...

Pump is connected on the lower side and the vacuum stuff on the upper, like this:
