Tnx all for response.
In the furnace, they do metal to glass
coupling every day...
They have various techniques, varying on the type of materials involve.
The easier to do is copper-glass joint, because it requires
no treatment before joining of the two.
I want to give a try to this, I will use a thick wire of copper (say 1 or 2 mm) and crystal glass.
Just beacuse you have to see the way melted glass attach
to the copper ! I think there is no outgas at all.
For sealing the insulator to the flange I will use epoxy.
When I will have tested the whole thing I will tell you
how it works. (if yes I will take jpegs)
Maybe I am wrong, but all this experimentation is a lot of fun to me !

ciao
Daniele
