Thanks for the reply Richard! As I mentioned, the controller for the turbo pump is toast. I can see some melted wires in the box. I dount plan to use the turbo yet, but it may be of value later on. ( this project seems to have developed a life of its own). I have talked to Pfeiffer they are sending a manual for the pump, and they have power cables in stock. Just how complicated is getting one of these to spin up? It seems to me, that it is just an electric motor and putting the right kind juice (AC vs DC) with the right voltage on the right pins should work. Is it more complicated than that?
