Steve, the instrument is not mine... and I hadn't my pirani there, I will have to connect it directly to the pump.
Actually I have dismantled the pump and cleaning all. Inside there is some dirt on the oil cavity surfaces and on mechanical parts too... probably this affects performance significantly.
The shaft sealing will be remade. The original gasket was like melted. It was loosing like an "oil-fall" :) I am planning to use LOCTITE (gasket type) or a sheet of Viton cut to the proper form.
What is better ?
