I'm cleaning everything I want it mirror clean :)
Scarrings are very few, tiny and longitudinal (sealing surfaces) so they shouldn't be an issue...

The gasket is not so complicated to rebuild...
and if I can I like to do my partz.

So my doubts were about the material to use for my home built gasket. Loctite seemed to work well but is dirty wher you have to inspect the inside of the pump, so I think I'll go Viton, or Teflon.
