What is a realistic pressure to expect from my Welch 1400? I have been pumping continuously for days, with just the one foot of rubber hose and the thermocouple guage in the line and I can get down to 20 microns. I have changed the oil three times. Does anyone think I need to rebuild the pump?
I am aware the advantages of traps such as the micromaze, and the water vapor problems but I thought this only came into play at ~10 to 1 micron level and below.
