The Fusor as its own vacuum gauge

I'd be interested in seeing a curve of how much current different fusors draw at a set voltage and at different pressures. It may be that this curve remains relatively stable from machine to machine, and if that is the case, could be used as a rough estimate of vacuum. Not as accurate as any other gauge probably, but a whole lot easier and cheaper when very accurate readings are not so important, as in a demo fusor.
Thoughts?
