In a resent paper presented by Dr. George H. Miley he makes the claim that their pulse IEC has reached 1*10^8 n/s with Deuterium. That would be the equivalent of 1*10^10 n/s if you burned Tritium.
He also talked about the fact that they are going to be using differentially pump ion guns and reducing the background gas pressure and they are adding active cooling to the inner grid.
Just thought it sounded interesting.
