Any ions whizzing through the centre of the fusor would have a much better probability of reacting in a whopper of a fusor due to the larger plasma volume(poissor?) that would have to be navigated before slowing down for another run, maybe making the device more efficient as well. Any of those labs making big units at the moment??.
