I am definitely willing to pay a nominal fee to keep this thing going.
Remember, I entered this forum with nada knowledge on March 10, 2001! Yesterday I bought a book entitled Plasms Physics. Today, I ordered a bottle of deuterium, with that and a neutron detector, I will be ready for desk top nuclear fusion.
If this forum wasn't around, and without all the help I have gotten from you guys who have, "been there and done that", I wouldn't even be on the "assembing parts" list!
To make it simple, at $3.00/ month, the several thousand dollars worth of advice that I have received, in the last three month would have cost me $9.00!
I suppose I would have a different perspective if I read the posts and then did nothing. For anyone who is passionate about DOING the thing that created us all, (the iron in your red cells, everything that we are and everthing we see came from fusion reactions in some long dead stars), the $3.00/month is nothing. It is nothing, nada, zip, compared to what we pay for vacuum fittings!
As a neophite, I consider myself lucky, that the guys with the real knowledge are NOT running a "pay per answer" web site.
