I'm beginning to get the message that maybe we should move the fusor discussion to eGroups. To eliminate any confusion if we do decide to go there, can we trip the options there down to the one group, "fusor" ?
I set that one up before I did the intranets thing, and abandoned it when I thought I'd detected problems with the sign up procedures. On further review I find that eGroups has all the same features as Intranets, PLUS the ability to transmit all messages as either individual e-mail or a digest. Also, the threads can be reconstructed in a manner almost like the old BBS, i.e. a single continuous page.
I'm suggesting "fusor" instead of "farnsworth fusor" because we are working with variations on the Farnsworth Fusor as well as the pure thing.
I may create a new "poll" this week simply asking "shall we relocated to eGroups?"
