This is pretty much the exact reason I've chosen to go with Conflat from the outset. Yes, the initial investment will be higher, but in the long run it ought to be better both financially and in the amount of labor needed - I will not have to buy the parts for such an upgrade on top of the original, or go through the trouble of doing it.
