MKS/Tylan Pinouts
Index Previous in Thread Next in Thread

I have a PDR-C-1B Baratron power supply/readout from MKS, and a similar unit from Tylan General(smaller form factor). The Baratron connector on the MKS unit is the usual D-shell(no problem there), but the connectors for the setpoint relays are the old-style Cambion hexagonal connectors. The Tylan readout uses the hexagonal connectors for both the relay setpoints and the sensor tube. If anyone can help out with these pinouts, I'd appreciate it, as I would eventually like to use the setpoint relays to switch over from roughing to diffusion pump, and I'd like to put the Tylan readout into service. If I get desperate enough, I guess I could take the things apart and trace out the circuits, but I'd like to avoid that if possible.

BTW, if anyone is looking for these old style connectors, Allied still stocks equivalents to the old Cambion series, along with obsolete delights like terminal strips... The Cambion connsctors are used on all the old MKS readouts and valve controllers.
