Why are you using the Micromaze and the diffusion pump? Take the Micromaze out of the system and your maintenance will go down.
Having a valve between the diff pump and the chamber is a good idea as, once you start to add D2 to the system, you will probably want to partially close the valve to throttle the pump (saves D2).
