You might do a Deja search (rec.crafts.metalworking?) as I remember reading about someone's experience machining it. IIRC it was tough, brittle & flaky. Alumino-silicate. Good thermal stability. I would like to know the electric properties; E, and resistance, especialy when it gets hot, and hopefully neutronic properties too ;-)
