I haven't heard much about it. But I felt the same over the SSC. Of course, the military probably has Wakefield accelerators that fit in a 747 and make the SSC look lame, but won't tell anyone.

The Air Force is using it in a fusor, to power the Wakefield death ray in the 747? I just love conspiracy theories. I'm waiting to hear the result from the studies gravity studies of spinning high temperature superconducting disks (Podkletnov effecthttp://www.inetarena.com/~noetic/pls/Deltag.htm), you would think they could confirm or deny by now.
