You bet! This was the real beuaty of the Hirsch-Meeks "sub team" within the Farnsworth fusor effort. They really clicked. With Hirsch's ebulent youthful Phd "go get em' " mentality and Meek's superb hands and practical skills, they made it happen.

Numbers of Neuts to this day are not really all that much better than this final and simpler superb effort of the Farnsworth group.
