I have done pictoral stuff with the Kodak infrared film. It records both near infrared and visible, so you might want to try it first with no filter on the lens. I would set the ASA for the first roll about the same as Tri-X, at about 320-400. I develop mine in Rodinal, 1:50, 8 min at 68F 5 sec agitation every 30 sec. Bracket your exposures liberally (no problem, since you get 36 exposures/roll). Load and unload in darkness, as the felt on the film cassette does not adequately keep out infrared. Also, you might want to use a totally stainless tank (lid, too) for processing, as some plastics transmit infrared.
