I agree totally with the perfesser's last statement. We don't want to go down this road again. I think it is very patrician of him to support the site for a full month while dialogue takes place.
Let's not squander his goodness by not moving to some genuine understanding about the future here.
Again, I like this site, its features and functionality and the folks on it. If we stay and pay, then the absolute most it would cost anyone is $3.00/month. Probably paid quarterly to the administrator. I believe the intranets would like just to bill the key administrator. Do you like that guys?
Here's th' deal it is $14.95/month with 5 members with $3.00/month tacked on for each member over 5 and an absolute max charge of $149.95 for unlimited membership. Thus, with 150 members that would be $1.00/month per person or 4 bucks quarterly. ( a deal by any measure if you are serious.)
While most of the best on the list would stay under this burden, the vast majority of free curiousity seeking lurkers would scurry off elsewhere.
