Let me know of your results. I'm very curious. I have never seen an IC ever used for any nuclear preamp. All use three or four pretty much direct coupled discrete transistor stages. This seems to retain a DC level, reduce input and circuit capacitances while making the thing blisteringly fast.
I would think that any modern hihg speed/fast slew video amp IC should fill the bill though.
