Re[2]: Simple question about units
Index Previous in Thread Next in Thread

Since due to Jims nice post and your unit reading in micro seaverts/hr which is Micron REM, the answer is YES you should be able to use your meter to work with fusor neuts.

However, does your unit have a moderator? What kind of detector does it use? Inquiring minds want to know.

Gee whiz guys If you have been around as long as I have you get to hate scientist and especially their standards committees.

I learned engineering in english units in college in the early 60's Poundals, Gilberts, etc. After moving onto the real world and interfacing with physicist I had the CGS system and its units to conquer and then the MKS and now the new SI units. God, can't th' bastards sqwat over a unit and defend it to the death!! I guess not. New ways of telling the recently annointed for the old guys, I suppose.
