There is a lot of information out there, I believe if you do a search on Z-pinch or reverse pinch, you should find some pretty detailed info. You may have to add in some search terms for magnetics or magnetic confinement.
As I understand it, field reverse is a very fancy way of creating a magnetically confined field.
My personal opinion is that little research has been done on combining magnetics with electrostatics for fusion. Good luck!
