Richard, in effect i was not thinking going down to 10e-7 at the first try since I have no gauges to measure it nor sufficient skills at the moment.
But I was a little scared when you said 200 mm is near the size limit for a fusor working at 1 micron. So being a real newbie in this kind of things, I wanted to be sure of the operability of my fusor... I want to stay on the cheap side as much as I can, so these flanges can be some sort of manna for me (Read I have to do it 200 mm) :)
Is there a specific pressure for a chamber like the one I am going to do ?
I have searched on the old BBS for articles on size of the chamber, and did not find em, also wuold like to know more on glow/star modes of operation.
Can you please redirect me to these infos ?
Ciao Daniele
ps. I have printed lots of articles from the old BBS, just not to bore you all too much. I will be reading them this week end.
